The Beijing Declaration of the Global Civilizations Dialogue Ministerial Meeting was adopted on Friday.
Themed "Safeguarding Diversity of Human Civilizations for World Peace and Development," the meeting attracted over 600 guests from 140 countries and regions.
The declaration stressed the importance of enhancing people-to-people and cultural exchanges and cooperation. It also showed a willingness to work with China to implement the Global Civilization Initiative and make positive contributions to promoting the common prosperity of world civilizations and building a community with a shared future for mankind.
