China's Zeng Zhuojun, who is better-known by his nickname and game ID "Xiao Hai," is currently competing in the Fatal Fury event at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Having won multiple world titles in Street Fighter, King of Fighters as well as other games, Xiao Hai is not only after more wins, but also looking forward to building his legacy.

Zeng is no stranger to the spotlight. The Chinese fighting game icon has turned his focus to a new challenge: Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. It is the seventh main installment of classic fighting game series and the first new entry in 26 years. This year, it has officially returned to competitive play.

Now representing Kuaishou Gaming, Xiao Hai already looked dominant in the group stage with clinical execution, sharp reads, and relentless composure. However, it's just about wins for him, it's also about evolving with the game, mastering every system, and proving he still belongs at the top.

Sixteen of the world's top players are battling for a massive $1 million prize pool in four groups of four players, double elimination, best-of-three. The top two from each group move into a best-of-five, single-elimination playoff bracket.

The action runs from July 10 to 12 at the Amazon Esports Arena.
