A sub-forum, titled "Inter-Civilization Exchanges and Mutual Learning: Cultural Inheritance and Innovation," was held in Beijing on Friday as part of the Global Civilizations Dialogue Ministerial Meeting. Guests from China and further afield engaged in discussions on implementing the Global Civilization Initiative.
Wang Wei, president of Henan Provincial Institute of Cultural Heritage and Archaeology, who has been engaged in archaeological research for 43 years, elaborated on the historical context and contemporary approaches to the inheritance and development of Chinese civilization. Drawing from his practical experience, he underscored the significance of mutual learning and exchange among civilizations.
