Visitors to Fujian Museum in southeast China's Fujian Province were treated to an extra delight on Saturday morning, a live performance by St. Genevieve Valiant Voices. The Valiant Voices, one of the choirs participating in the ongoing 2025 China-U.S. Youth Choir Festival, also took the opportunity to explore local culture and history. Their visit included a photo exhibition honoring the legacy of the Flying Tigers, a symbol of the enduring China-U.S. friendship.
The Flying Tigers, formally known as the American Volunteer Group, were a legendary unit of U.S. volunteer pilots formed in 1941 under the command of General Claire Chennault. Fighting alongside the Chinese people during World War II, they played a crucial role in resisting the fascist Imperial Japanese Army.
