Driven by cooperation and friendship between China and Africa, more Chinese students are learning African languages like Swahili, Zulu, and Amharic. They're also diving deeper into Africa's diverse cultures. "I fell in love with the rhythm of Swahili," says Li Mengyao. "Zulu's click sounds are tough!" says Lin Qidong. Du Yiran recalls practicing the Amharic "r" sound in front of a mirror. At Beijing Foreign Studies University, these students aren't just learning words – they're building bridges between China and Africa.
