Amid the vast expanse of mountains and rivers in Northeast China, an unyielding resistance once ignited. Eighty years ago, under extremely harsh conditions, the Northeast Anti-Japanese United Army rose up against invaders, fighting for global peace and justice. The black-and-white photographs capture the smoke and flames of those turbulent years. The color images reflect today's modernization and industrial revitalization – a vivid testament to how this once war-torn land is now thriving.
