China's first intelligent ocean-class comprehensive scientific research vessel was delivered in Shanghai on July 13.

The vessel, named "Tongji," is a domestically designed and built new-generation research ship featuring green, low-noise and intelligent technologies. Its operational capacity is equivalent to that of a 3,000-tonne-class vessel.
