A construction worker trapped chest-deep in a collapsed trench in Shuangyashan City, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, was rescued on July 13 after a firefighter shielded him from falling debris with his own body. After 40 minutes of digging, the man was freed with no life-threatening injuries.
