Located alongside the Wenyu River in Beijing's Shunyi District, the Song Art Museum was designed by leading architect Kuang Ming (Ray) Chou and opened to the public in 2017. The carefully cultivated pine trees and Victorian-style white buildings form a simple but inclusive artistic garden design at the museum, which houses a total of 12 galleries. Thanks to its unique design and range of support facilities, the museum has become a cultural landmark in Shunyi.
