Located at the intersection of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, Grand Epoch City is modeled after the ancient capital city of Beijing during the Ming and Qing dynasties.

It replicates the "nine inner and seven outer" design of the old Beijing city walls. The scenic area is encircled by a 5-kilometer city wall, 22 well-arranged towers, architectural complexes with strong traditional Chinese cultural styles, and ingenious imperial gardens.

Boasting pavilions, terraces, towers, winding corridors, and buildings with carved beams and painted rafters, it incorporates the classical gardening styles of both northern and southern China. Although man-made, it resembles a natural landscape, recreating the former imperial palace's grandeur – an earthly paradise with fresh plants, clear waters dappled with the shadows of boats, and the fragrance of lotus flowers filling the air.
