Cai Lei, a former executive at a leading e-commerce company in China, was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in 2019. Following his diagnosis, he decided to devote the rest of his life to supporting research and finding a way to beat this fatal disease, not only for himself, but also for thousands of patients in China.
