At this year's China International Supply Chain Expo, Royal Philips CEO Roy Jakobs highlighted the importance of China's role in global manufacturing and innovation. During an interview with CMG, Jakobs pointed to the company's strong ecosystem in Suzhou – home to advanced CT and MRI scanner production – as a model of competitiveness, speed and collaboration between business, academia and government.
