The world remains far from the goal of "adequate housing for all." In an exclusive interview with #LeadersTalk, UN-Habitat Executive Director Anacláudia Rossbach tells CGTN host Wang Guan that over 2.8 billion people currently live in inadequate housing worldwide, including more than 1.1 billion in slums or informal settlements, and over 300 million who are completely homeless. In Africa, 62 percent of urban housing is informal; in the Asia-Pacific region, more than 500 million lack access to basic water services, while over 1 billion people remain without adequate sanitation.
