On July 18, West China Second Hospital of Sichuan University launched the "West China maternal and child AI doctor." With capabilities including proactive inquiry, intelligent diagnosis, exam and treatment recommendations, multimodal perception and long-term disease management. The AI doctor independently generates auxiliary treatment plans. It helps doctors boost diagnosis efficiency, reduce missed or misdiagnosis risks and provides patients with continuous, precise care.
