At least 38 people have been confirmed dead and 12 others rescued after a cruise ship capsized in Ha Long Bay, northern Vietnam's Quang Ninh Province, during a sudden thunderstorm on July 19, Vietnam News Agency reported. The ship was carrying 53 people – 48 tourists and five crew members – at the time of the accident, according to the media.
