Transport leads the way in strengthening trade and infrastructure ties under the Belt and Road Initiative. To date, China has signed over 270 bilateral and multilateral cooperation agreements and documents coveting all key transport sectors—railway, road, maritime, air, and postal services, according to Chinese Minister of Transport Liu Wei. He emphasized the significant role of the China-Europe Railway Express, which now connects 229 cities in Europe and over 100 cities in Asia.
