'Death Stranding 2: On the Beach' original soundtrack launched in Beijing

On July 21, 2025, the "Immersive Sound, Audio-Visual Feast" media launch event was held in Beijing, celebrating the official release of the highly anticipated "Death Stranding 2: On the Beach" original soundtrack, produced by Kojima Productions.

French musician Woodkid, who composed the music for the game, joined the event virtually to share his creative insights and behind-the-scenes experiences. Caroline Polachek, the American artist who performed the theme song "On the Beach," also sent a special video greeting to the attendees.

During the event, Woodkid emphasized his strong creative alignment with Hideo Kojima, noting that both he and the renowned game director are driven not by mainstream trends but by a shared commitment to personal expression and narrative vision. He also reflected on how his music has reached audiences across cultures and languages through the game and expressed his hope to build deeper connections with Chinese fans through music.
