Maoshan Mountain, located in eastern China's Jiangsu Province, was one of China's six bases in mountainous areas used by the Chinese Communist Party-led New Fourth Army during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. At that time, it was a battleground of fierce combat, with gunfire echoing through its hills.
Today, this once war-torn land is covered in greenery and full of life. The smoke of war has faded, replaced by peace and growing prosperity. Its people who, having endured unimaginable hardships, now stand resilient, embracing a future filled with promise and opportunities.
