As China and the European Union mark 50 years of diplomatic ties, CGTN's Tian Wei speaks with legendary conductor Zubin Mehta. At 25, he led the Vienna, Berlin, and Israel Philharmonics. Later, he became the longest-serving music director of the New York Philharmonic. Returning to China this July, Mehta recalls childhood memories of Shanghai with his family. He sees music as a lasting bridge between cultures. In his words: "In the end, the mastery of Mozart and Beethoven, that's really convinced people."
