China has called for international cooperation on cybersecurity. Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Guo Jiakun made the remarks on Wednesday in response to a major cyber espionage operation that reportedly compromised around 100 organizations via Microsoft's SharePoint servers. Alphabet's Google says at least part of the activity is attributed to an actor with alleged ties to China, despite no clear evidence being found. Guo said the international community should uphold a fair approach when addressing cybersecurity concerns.
