The largest Ethiopian cultural group in almost 40 years is in China for a week of cultural sharing that runs through July 27.
On July 24, the show "Kin Ethiopia: Ethiopia Rising," which featured a mix of Ethiopian heritage, including music, traditional clothing, fashion shows, acrobatics and other elements, was hosted at the Ethiopian Embassy in Beijing.
The event is also part of the celebrations marking the 55th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Ethiopia.
The week of cultural events seeks to promote Ethiopia's identity, as well as the cultural exchange, tourism and economic cooperation between China and Ethiopia.
