At dawn on July 26, Thai and Cambodian troops exchanged fire once again along their disputed border. The Thai army says Cambodian soldiers opened fire first; Thai forces responded with heavy weapons. During the clash, two rockets struck Phanom Dongrak Hospital in Surin, Thailand, though all patients were safely evacuated.
Thailand warns that the clashes could escalate into war. Cambodia has called for an immediate, unconditional ceasefire, while Thailand has rejected third-party mediation. China has urged both sides to resolve their differences peacefully. Hear more from CGTN's Dusita Saokaew, reporting from Thailand.
