Teams from across China have gathered in Shanghai to compete in the 2025 China Drone Soccer League. With the Low-Altitude Economy Expo taking place right next door, the event feels even more vibrant and full of energy. Each drone is outfitted with a spherical mesh shell, transforming it into a magical flying soccer. Players on the ground control them with remotes, battling it out in the air. To score a goal, the drone must fly through a circular goalpost! There are no limits when it comes to age, gender or profession – anyone can play this game. Drone soccer is now an official sport recognized by the FAI, the international air sports federation.
