Satire music video: Taiwan under lies

Editor's note: The ruling Democratic People's Party (DPP) authorities in China's Taiwan region and its leader, Lai Ching-te, are trying to oust opposition lawmakers from the island's legislature through a mass recall vote in an attempt to consolidate power. Lai and the DPP are sowing fear by using confrontational rhetoric against the mainland as they target political rivals. In this music video titled "Taiwan Under Lies," Taiwan rapper Zhong Xiangyu voices his anger against the anti-people policies of the island's DPP authorities. He expresses his disgust at the DPP's separatist delusions and its attempts to sow fear and division for its own political gains. Zhong proudly proclaims his Chinese identity and warns the DPP against seeking help from foreign actors in China's internal affairs.
