A kindergarten wall collapsed but no casualties were reported after a powerful quake struck off the coast of Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula on Wednesday. Countries including China, Japan, the U.S., Canada, Ecuador and Peru issued tsunami alerts, urging residents to avoid coastal and river side of the areas.
