Commenting on the current situation in Gaza on Wednesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said that China is calling on all relevant parties, especially Israel, to immediately cease military operations in Gaza, lift the blockade and siege of Gaza, fully restore humanitarian access, and prevent a larger-scale humanitarian crisis. He also said that the Palestinian question is at the heart of the Middle East issue. The two-state solution is the only way out of the Palestinian question.
