China Media Group (CMG) held a premier sports resources promotion conference in Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong Province, in Wednesday, as part of a sprint in marketing efforts for upcoming domestic competitions ahead of Friday's 100-day countdown to the 15th National Games in Guangdong, the Hong Kong SAR (Special Administrative Region), and the Macao SAR.

As China's flagship sports broadcasting platform, CCTV-5 Sports Channel has been consistently empowering event coverage with cutting-edge technology and delivering live competitions to audiences nationwide through its professional team and robust comprehensive capabilities.

In the first half of 2025, CCTV-5 broadcast more than 5,110 sporting events, achieving an average live viewership rating of 0.37 percent, a record high for the same period in the past three years. The station reached 520 million unique viewers across China, with cumulative audience impressions exceeding 23.6 billion.

Guangdong, Hong Kong SAR, and Macao SAR will co-host the 15th National Games in November, marking the first joint staging in the history of the top-level domestic sports gathering. And through CMG's broadcasting endeavors, a cross-regional transmission synergy will be established, enabling multiple brands to reach a broader consumer base.
