During the fifth China-Africa Future Leaders' Dialogue, CGTN's Pablo Chen talked with Hodan Osman Abdi, Somali ambassador to China, to discuss the achievements made in China-Africa cooperation in the fields of poverty reduction and education.
Hailing the success in China-Africa cooperation, Hodan said there is huge potential to be unleashed in bilateral cooperation in poverty reduction and technical and vocational education.
"When you have the right infrastructure, you are able to drive people, drive commodities, and drive development in certain areas," she said, adding that the bridges and the ports that were built in the past three decades on the African continent have contributed to the wealth and development of African countries.
On technical and vocational education, she said cooperation between the two sides in this regard is the largest driver of skill transfer.
