Paper-cutting workshop honors spirit of Army Day in Anhui
In a community in Hefei, Anhui Province, 78-year-old paper-cutting artist Lou Liangying teaches local youth the art of paper-cutting while sharing stories of soldiers. The activity offered young participants a hands-on experience with this intangible cultural heritage, while honoring the spirit of Army Day on August 1, which commemorates the founding of the People's Liberation Army in China in 1927.
