The Athletes' Village for the 2025 Chengdu World Games officially opened in the host city on Saturday.

Dubbed the "Chengdu Home," the Athletes' Village will provide services for around 7,000 participants worldwide from August 3rd to 18th.

The opening ceremony, held at the Tianfu International Hotel, attracted more than 200 officials from the International World Games Association (IWGA), athletes, staff members, and volunteers.

"The quality of the accommodation is just amazing," said Guillaume Felli, Deputy CEO of the IWGA. "I'm sure the athletes will have great accommodations to really perform at their best during the Games."
