As heavy rains and floods recently swept across parts of China, recovery efforts are underway. In Beijing, residents from disaster-hit areas have begun returning to their villages. By August 2, all flood-damaged roads in Hebei Province had been reopened. By August 3, 48 road sections in Shanxi Province had reopened to traffic. Rescue teams and local authorities continue working around the clock to support affected communities.
