At least five people have been killed, and over 100 are missing after a cloudburst triggered a flash flood in the Uttarkashi district, in northern India's Uttarakhand state, on August 5. The deluge washed away a village, wreaking destruction on infrastructure. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences to the families of the victims.
