China Media Group is responsible for broadcasting the opening and closing ceremonies at the 2025 Chengdu World Games, and its 4K/8K ultra-high-definition live broadcast vans, also known as the "Chinese Red" road fleet, have been positioned on site, as preparations for the opening ceremony broadcast enter the final stages.

The CMG UHD live broadcast vans were parked at the venue for the opening ceremony. To ensure successful coverage of both ceremonies, the fleet officially departed from Beijing on July 21st and arrived at its operational location on July 25th, two weeks prior to the curtain raiser.

This fleet consisted of four large vehicles – one 4K/8K UHD broadcast van, one audio support truck, one satellite uplink truck, and one auxiliary equipment truck. Those vehicles were accompanied by a 120-person broadcast team with extensive experience in covering major sporting events.

The opening cremony of the 2025 Chengdu World Games will take place on Thursday evening, in the capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province.
