Kim Keon-hee, wife of ousted former South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol, appeared for questioning by a special prosecutor on August 6, as part of an investigation into serious allegations including stock manipulation, bribery, and interference in party nominations. This marks the first probe targeting Kim Keon-hee since the establishment of the special counsel. Kim apologized to the public upon arrival and pledged full cooperation.
