CGTN

01:31

The trailer for "Dead to Rights" aims to capture a haunting yet powerful resolve to survive. Set against the horrors of the Nanjing Massacre, the film follows a group of civilians hiding in a local photo studio. Forced to develop rolls of film for a Japanese military photographer, they accidentally uncover photographic evidence of the massacre. As the city descends into chaos and the truth is threatened with erasure, they must risk everything to preserve the images – and their lives.
