Switzerland has been slapped with a "surprise" tariff of 39 percent by ally the United States. Zoe Schneeweiss, western Europe economics editor at Bloomberg News, says this is one of the highest rates globally. As a "small, export-oriented country" where half of its income relies on exports, Switzerland sees the tariff as a "huge blow," Schneeweiss says.
