Tucked away in the southern suburbs of Nanjing is a private museum dedicated to the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. Today, it houses over 6,000 artifacts, 40,000 books, and records of oral history by 1,600 war veterans. At the heart of this museum is Wu Xianbin – a local entrepreneur who has devoted his time and personal fortune to preserving this chapter of history.
