A 28-year-old active-duty sergeant opened fire at Fort Stewart on August 6, injuring five fellow soldiers with a personal handgun. The suspect, identified as Sergeant Quornelius Radford, was subdued by other soldiers and taken into custody. All victims are in stable condition and an investigation is underway.
