To mark the UN's 80th anniversary, CGTN has teamed up with global content creators on a campaign titled "One Home: Shared Future" to give voice to young people's hopes for humanity's future.

Ogbuagu Kelechi Uchamma, a Nigerian youth pursuing a master's degree in architecture at Chongqing University, shares her insights on climate action. She says that her experience living and studying in China has granted her a clearer perspective on the world, particularly regarding the climate crisis. Citing examples such as Storm Daniel in Libya, which claimed over 11,000 lives, and ongoing wildfires in Türkiye and Greece, she emphasizes the urgency of collective action. "This planet is our only home," she asserts. "It deserves our protection, our creativity and our care."
