A century-old castle reborn in Moganshan's summer retreat

Moganshan in Deqing County, Huzhou City, east China's Zhejiang Province, is celebrated as one of China's "Four Famous Summer Retreats." At its foot lies Lanshukeng Village, once nicknamed "Rotten Tree Pit" due to poverty. Today, thanks to a thriving homestay industry, the village has transformed into a sought-after getaway.

The renovation preserved its original structure and gardens while introducing eco-friendly technology.
