Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Secretary-General Kao Kim Hourn recently said at a geopolitical forum that all ASEAN member states will work together to address the issue of U.S. tariffs. Meanwhile, efforts should be made to minimize the impact of the tariffs and ensure that people's livelihoods are not significantly affected. He further stated that ASEAN firmly refuses to take sides in the context of evolving geopolitical dynamics and intensifying geo-economic competition among major powers. Instead, ASEAN remains committed to maintaining a neutral and constructive platform for dialogue and cooperation.
