UN@80: Portuguese youth calls for educational equity

As the United Nations marks its 80th anniversary in 2025, CGTN is working with global content creators to launch the One Home: Shared Future visual storytelling initiative, calling on young people worldwide to share their aspirations for humanity's future.

In this video, Rafaela from Portugal shares her educational journey, showing how quality education can bridge geographical and cultural divides. Learning Chinese allowed her to fully engage with life in China, while teaching Portuguese has helped Chinese students expand their perspectives. Rafaela highlights the UN's efforts in advancing global education and calls for continued collaboration to build a more inclusive, equal and inspiring education system for all.
