A dreamlike sea of clouds has rolled over the volcanic cluster on the outskirts of Datong City, Shanxi Province. The Datong Volcanic Cluster is the only volcanic group in the world formed on the Loess Plateau and is among China's six most famous volcanic clusters. Haotian Temple sits atop Mount Haotian, one of the volcanoes, and is the only temple in China built inside a volcanic crater.
