Israel's first swift admission: Gaza strike kills five Al Jazeera journalists

00:14

For the first time in the ongoing conflict, Israel's military has swiftly claimed responsibility for an airstrike in Gaza that killed five Al Jazeera journalists and at least three other people. The strike on Sunday evening hit a tent outside al-Shifa Hospital, where the reporters were sheltering. Al Jazeera condemned the incident as a "targeted assassination," while Israel alleged lead correspondent Anas al-Sharif was a Hamas cell leader – an accusation the network has denied.
