Rescue operations and disaster relief measures are still underway following heavy rainfall that triggered mountain torrents in Yuzhong County, northwest China's Gansu Province. Temporary shelters have been established for displaced families. Currently Yuzhong County No. 3 Middle School is the largest shelter in the area, accommodating over 185 affected residents.
