An important milestone has been reached in China's shipbuilding industry: on August 8, the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Factory delivered its 600th ship since its establishment in 1999. The company now consistently delivers 20 to 30 ships annually, matching the output of leading shipbuilders worldwide.
