The vision of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" has been actively put into practice and continuously refined across China for two decades – from protecting ecosystems to transforming natural resources into sustainable prosperity. One example can be found in northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, where former mining pits have been transformed into thriving vineyards.
