The war drama "Dead to Rights," a Chinese historical film about the 1937 Nanjing Massacre, has been performing strongly at the box office, sparking nationwide reflection in China and igniting global discussion after it made its premiere in several other countries, including the United States and Canada. Many Chinese people living overseas have been deeply touched by the film. It has also caught the attention of a Frenchman living in China, prompting him to donate hundreds of photos collected by his grandfather during the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression to a Chinese museum.
