Standing at 6,282 meters high, the highest peak of the Amne Machin range is considered one of the four sacred mountains in local Tibetan culture. However, due to climate change, its glaciers are shrinking. These photos were taken by CGTN reporters in April 2024 during a trip to the Amne Machin in Maqen County, Qinghai Province.
