On the coastline near Rome lies Nettuno, the only city in Italy where football isn't king – baseball is. 

The seeds were planted during World War II, when Allied forces liberated Nazi-occupied Italy, and have since taken root and blossomed into an an 80-year long affair – and "affair" is probably the right word. Because baseball is a collective "passion," says Mario Trinci, catcher and son of Nettuno Baseball Club's legend Guglielmo Trinci.

This episode follows Mario and club manager Roberto De Franceschi through the stadium museum, where war-era photographs tell the story of the town's baseball origins, and the countless trophies outline the next chapters.
